Members run fsyncDATA, not us. An elected council owns the charter and can dissolve the club; neither fsyncDATA nor MinervaDB has a seat or a veto.

The members’ council
Seven members elected annually: five by the Circle and two by the guild stewards, no two from the same company. It owns the charter, approves Circle nominations, hears breaches, audits the benchmark, sets the pace of growth, and may dissolve the club. Neither fsyncDATA nor MinervaDB has a seat or a veto.
Guild stewards
Two per guild, elected by guild members for a year. They run sessions, read applications, route peer-bench questions, and report to the council. A steward may not hold a sales or pre-sales role anywhere.
The secretariat
fsyncDATA staff, none in a sales role, contractually bound by the charter. They run the calendar, introductions, reading room and benchmark collection, and report to the council on club matters.
The convener
fsyncDATA is the GCC club of MinervaDB Inc. MinervaDB funds everything and holds one nomination vote, like any member. MinervaDB and its sister company ChistaDATA provide database services; both are bound by Rule 1, and neither receives member data, attendance lists or directory access.
What fsyncDATA and MinervaDB explicitly do not get: member contact details for any commercial use, attendance lists, directory exports, raw benchmark data, the right to mention the club in any sales conversation, or any say over the council’s decisions.
The test we accept
If any member receives a services approach from fsyncDATA, MinervaDB or ChistaDATA that references the club, a session or anything learned in one, the member reports it to the council, the council publishes the breach to every member, and the council may dissolve the club. A rule you cannot lose by is not a rule.
Apply, ask, or nominate someone better
Practitioners apply to a Guild. Leaders request a Circle invitation. Anyone may nominate a peer. Every message to the secretariat is answered by a person within two working days.
