GCC Leadership Conferences and fsyncDATA Learning

The club is vetted by design. Beside it, fsyncDATA runs two programmes open to everyone who runs, builds or wants to run India’s capability center data platforms.

Nothing said inside the club is ever presented at a conference, and no sponsor gains anything inside the club. The two are run by different people, and they stay different.

Four GCC Leadership Conference editions a year, alternating between Bengaluru and Hyderabad

The GCC Leadership Conferences

Four a year, one every three months, alternating between Bengaluru and Hyderabad, so two editions per city per year. One full day each. Attendees, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors are all invited. Sponsors and exhibitors work the floor, never the stage.

Dates and venues are published when they are confirmed, not before.

Morning

Engine tracks

Practitioner talks run with the guilds: PostgreSQL, MySQL and MariaDB, SQL Server, Oracle and Db2, NoSQL, real-time analytics, cloud warehouse and lakehouse.

Midday

Live break-fix

A broken cluster diagnosed on stage, from the first symptom to the fix, with the audience asking the questions.

Afternoon

Hands-on labs

Labs run by principal engineers: upgrades, failover drills, query plans, cost tuning.

Evening

Networking, music and dinner

Structured introductions by engine and role, then music, dance and a long dinner.

fsyncDATA Learning

Online tracks for the people who will run India’s GCC data platforms next, built from the material the conferences run live and reviewed by guild stewards.

  • Data Platform Engineer. Building and automating database and data platforms across engines and clouds.
  • Data Platform Operations. Running production: monitoring, backup and restore, failover, upgrades, on-call.
  • Data Architect. Modelling, engine selection, managed vs self-managed, cost and reliability by design.

Open to working professionals and to colleges. Enrolment opens with the first conference edition.

fsyncDATA Learning: three online tracks

Colleges

Colleges can enrol a cohort into any of the three tracks, and send students to the conferences as attendees. Cohorts are arranged with the secretariat.
